Dimensions and Zones
When not possible or due to other circumstances, the range (field) can be made up of any size agreed upon by players, teams, and /or league administrators. Dimensions should stay in proportion to standard dimensions, but is not a requirement.
Standard Dimensions:
Range: 100 yards long x 50 yards wide
Main Goals: 24’ wide x 8’ high, centered on end boundary line
Side Goals: 18’ wide x 6’ high (25% smaller than Main goal), located on left and right side boundary lines, center of goal 17.5 yards from end boundary line (centered between end boundary and Schlamm zone line)
Schlamm pits: 20 yards x 10 yards with semi-circle extending out towards center of range by 2.5 yards
Schlamm zones: 5 yards surrounding the Schlamm pits
Center range Line: Divides the range in half (50 yards from end boundary line)
Offensive and Defensive Zones: Either side of the Center Range line
Neutral Zone: oval (oblong) shaped, centered within range 70 yards at longest point x 25 yards widest point ( the Schlamm pit boundary and neutral zone boundary intersect at center range line)
Corner (throw-in) Areas: A total of 8 areas on the Range, 2 yard radius from corner
End Goal Zones: 2 areas – half circle centered by goal extending 3 yards on either side of goal. (5 yards out, away from boundary line)
Side Goal Zones: 4 areas – half circle centered by goal extending 3 yards of either side of goal. (4 yards out, away from boundary line)
